Tuesday and Wednesday Dec 18

I was off yesterday, hacking up a lung. I've got the dry lung searing cough that is going around.

Tuesday and Wednesday I gave students a chance to get their CA's complete and to see the mark they have right now during one on one conferences on Wednesday.

We are trying, Ringo. We are trying real hard to be the Shepard.

We are working on our presentations and All About Me Unit things to hand in. At least that is what I'm hoping we can do by the end of the period.

We are so close to Christmas .... they even played a semi happy song on the announcements this monring! ;)

Anyway, we are hard at work together.

Day one of the in-class writing part of the Culminating is today.

We are working hard together.

Tuesday Dec 10

We put the finishing touches on draft pieces of writing for tomorrow in class this period.

Some "Writing folders" were prepared, too.

Monday Dec 9

We co-created this list of topics on the Theory of Internet Usage together Here it is.

We then lost haldf the class to a trip to Mohawk ... meh.

Then I was able to help students get things in to me for this unit.

Friday Dec 6

A good final day in the library on our Culminating Activities as a group. I conferenced with everyone in the class who was present either today or yesterday. Thanks for that.

I am worried about a few of you ... y'all need to keep editing your document so that it is your best work. If you need help, ASK!

We were in the library today, working on draft versions of our CA Pieces of Writing.

It was .... epic.

I'm glad we are getting this done in a realively decent pace. Good on ya.

Period 4 I did shatter the silence of the library with a great Chewbacca imitation. I did tell the librarian I would publicly shame myself and here it is.

Today we worked on our draft versions of our CA essays and the final part of the All About Me Unit

Monday and Tuesday Dec 3

Yesterday and today we worked basically on whatever we needed to get done.

The All About me Unit is coming along nicely. We now have a bunch of College Calendars in the portable for stuents to have in their hands and learn to use.

We also have everyone in this period having an edited "About" paragraph done and ready to post online for employers to see and search out. The next step is to begin an online portfolio for both this assignment and for future employment.

Finally, we also took a long minutes to work on the thesis and first paragraph of the piece of writing for the Culminating Activity for this course.
